Plastering & Skimming
Plastering is the process of covering walls and ceilings with a thin, even layer of wet plaster to provide a smooth, sealed and decorative surface. It is usually applied to provide a protective and decorative layer over brick, block and other masonry surfaces. Skimming is a type of plastering that involves applying a thin layer of plaster over existing plasterwork, brickwork or other materials.

Plasterboarding & Dry Lining
Plasterboarding and dry lining are two methods used in the construction of walls and ceilings. Plasterboarding involves fixing boards of plasterboard to walls and ceilings, usually with nails or screws, and then plastering over them. Dry lining is a process whereby plasterboard is applied directly to a wall or ceiling, without the need for plastering. Both methods are relatively quick and easy to install.

Hardwall & Bonding
Hardwall plaster is an undercoat plaster that is most commonly used with masonry backgrounds like bricks and medium-density blocks. Bonding helps plasterers achieve a smooth finish and is good for surfaces to be plastered with a skim layer or polished afterwards, it can also be used on surfaces like concrete too. Hardwall and bonding is a process of using a drywall compound to build a wall structure and is a great way to create a sturdy, durable wall that is also aesthetically pleasing.

External Render
External rendering is the process of applying an external layer of plaster to an external wall surface. It is usually done to protect and insulate a building, as well as to improve its appearance. The plaster is usually applied in two or three coats, with the base coat being applied first and the finishing coats being applied on top. The base coat is usually made up of sand, cement and lime or other aggregates. The finishing coats are usually made of different materials, such as lime.
